Clement
Wildlife Photographer
My name is Clément, a self-taught French wildlife photographer, an explorer at heart and a lover of wide-open spaces.
My passion for photography was born in Quebec, during a memorable encounter with a moose in the heart of the boreal forest. This moment profoundly changed the way I look at nature and made me want to get closer to living things, to observe them and to convey their beauty through images.
Since then, I have learned photography mainly in the field, through outings, trips, waiting, and sometimes unexpected encounters. What I love above all is to go in search of nature that is still wild, in places where you feel small in the face of the elements.
I am particularly drawn to cold and isolated environments: snow, wind, silence, and long days spent outdoors are fully part of the experience. These sometimes demanding conditions make every encounter with an animal even more powerful and, in my opinion, give a special dimension to the images I bring back from them.
Through my work, I seek to convey this sense of wonder and to show a nature that is at once beautiful, discreet, and fragile. I hope that my photographs make people want to slow down, observe more, and rediscover a simpler connection with the wild world.
Today, I continue this approach through increasingly ambitious projects, in France as well as in the northern regions, with the desire to continue exploring, telling stories, and sharing these encounters that deeply move me.
